On August 17th 2023 Winston Henderson, General Counsel of Clear Scientific Inc., participated as a panelist in L-SPRINT, a program sponsored by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and Babson College in Boston, MA. L-SPRINT’s purpose is to provide early-stage substance use disorder (SUD) researchers with the skills and knowledge they need to launch and run successful biotech and pharmaceutical companies. The program aims to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the SUD field and ultimately translate research discoveries into real-world solutions. Co-panelists included Carl Berke of Mass General Brigham (MGB) Ventures and Michel Freni, Vice President Business Development and Venture Partner, AI and Digital Innovation Fund at MGB. “The L-SPRINT program sponsored by NIDA and Babson, and hosted by MGB Innovation, provided an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs, academics, government leaders, and venture capitalists to come together in the spirit of making significant progress in addressing substance abuse disorder,” noted Mr. Henderson.
