Clear Scientific Inc. receives $12MM grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) to develop an antidote against acute intoxication from methamphetamine. The U01 grant is under NIDA’s Grand Opportunity in Medications Development for Substance Use Disorders program. Clear Scientific completed a successful proof-of-concept preclinical study with the antidote. The heart of Clear Scientific's mission is saving lives. Clear Scientific is developing a family of technologies that identify, neutralize, and eliminate harmful compounds to treat life-threatening conditions using our novel chemistry platform. We are creating new countermeasures to mitigate chemical threat agents and to treat acute intoxication caused by substance abuse.
