Clear Science
specializes in the characterization of metals, powders
and porous materials,
coatings, and
advanced materials. These materials families are closely integrated in
areas such as powder metallurgy, porous materials, batteries, electronic
materials, and thermal spray coatings to name a few. Clear
Science has the unique skills and tools needed to study these and other
materials systems in detail.
Our routine
laboratory testing includes metallography, microscopy, BET surface area,
x-ray diffraction, particle size analysis, pycnometry, and mechanical
testing. Tests are performed according to industry standards or
procedures you provide. If necessary, we can develop a test protocol for
your specific materials.
Materials Tests are
usually completed in 5-15 days for up to 20 samples. A 30% premium is charged
for "rush" services and we have a $300 minimum analysis fee.
